♠  We are looking for a Document Administrator to join us in our Dorking office on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This is an excellent opportunity within a growing organisation.

♠  The purpose of this role is to provide support to our internal teams in processing documentation and uploading this to our systems. The role requires attention to detail and accuracy, as well as the ability to work towards deadlines and as a team.


Key responsibilities:

♠  Receive, prepare and scan incoming post and other documents to ensure work is transferred onto the network within agreed timeframes

♠  Index scanned documentation to ensure work is placed in the correct queue and distributed to the correct business area within agreed timeframes

♠  Compile and collate items required by supported business areas to accurately issue all documentation, including enclosures within agreed timeframes

♠  Develop effective working relationships with key internal customers to enhance understanding of related processes and promote efficient work practices

♠  Fully comply with regulatory requirements in accordance with company guidelines to support Unum’s ability to continue to do business, including the identification of risk


Required Knowledge & Skills

♠  Scanner set-up and operation (scanning, indexing, retrieval and rescanning)

♠  IT Literate in Microsoft Packages

♠  Attention to Detail & Accuracy

♠  Some experience in customer service/Data processing/Administration role

Job No 2 ( Transport Administrator )

Job type : Permanent

Salary:£24,000 per annum

Location: Crick, Northampton (NN6), NN6 7GY


A new chance has risen for a full time rail administrator to assist our container logistics team in Daventry. You will be responsible for ensuring all agreed and relevant rail administration is carried out in an efficient and timely manner, including reporting and resourcing.

What will I be responsible for?

♠   Arranging all paperwork received from Stobart depots daily

♠  Ensuring daily reports and Key Performance Indicator data is up to date and correct

♠  Administering the loading of any relevant rail services

♠  Organising paperwork for scanning, ensuring all relevant checks are carried out

♠  Communicating with rail operators for regular updates on the progress of each service

♠  Communicating with customers, through regular updates, of service progress

♠  Indexing customer accounts accurately and efficiently, resolving any queries

♠  Returning or archiving paperwork as per the customer’s requirements

♠  Following customer and internal procedures in an effective and efficient way, completing all legal documents and forwarding to relevant recipients

♠  Updating relevant spread sheets for internal monitoring purposes

♠  Booking any additional resources required to fulfil daily requirements

♠  Providing holiday cover across the department when necessary


What kind of person are you looking for?


You will have a great attention to detail and the ability to use your own initiative supported by good numerical and computer skills. You need to be team orientated and have good communication skills. Demonstrate a positive attitude and be determined to work hard. The ability to deal with a high volume of paperwork and experience in a similar Administration role would be desirable.

Ideally you will have a background within Transport, however this is non essential
