Full Job Description
We’re looking for someone that can bring excellent, written product descriptions and content to help our customers make informed buying decisions. You don’t need to be Shakespeare but you will have the skills to write timely, informative and accurate product information for some of the most interesting Men’s wear brands in the world.
Your time will be split between getting our premium products live to a global audience and conducting some light analysis of how well those products then sell. Plus, you’ll help us keep a beady eye on our competition!
Above all we’re looking for a well organised individual who has laser focused attention to detail, likes to do a thorough job and can work as a strong team player.
Key Responsibilities:
• To ensure that all product lines are created and added correctly with minimal error from suppliers packing lists and supplied invoices.
• To ensure that creative copy is added to each product card to enable customers to make an informed decision about their purchase
• To utilise any further information available for the product such as sizing guides, reviews, video content where necessary in supporting the sale of that product.
• To merchandise the Urban Industry website in terms of moving product around pages to affect better sales inline with seasonal timing, marketing campaigns etc
• To help maintain great general housekeeping duties across the entire website and be a liason for any changes to the site content.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Experience of working for a web based store with multiple brands and 1000’s of product sku’s would be a major advantage but not essential. We can train you on the nuts and bolts!
• Be able to demonstrate accurate descriptive writing skills.
• Demonstrating a logical, numeric mind. A working knowledge of basic Microsoft Excel would be a distinct advantage.
• Experience of working with an online shopping system like Shopify or similar would be a major benefit.

• A love for Fashion twinned with a love of outdoor activities would be an advantage

• Training and support. You may have all the attributes we’re looking for but have no experience in the menswear fashion market or our shopify platform. We can train and show you the ropes in a way that will fully utilise your skills.

This position is a full time (Min 40hrs Per week) based in our Eastbourne Offices & Warehouse.
Salary: £22-24k Starting Salary. Depending on experience or discernible attributes that will be right for this role.
