Project Leader RD&I (Non-Food)
Organizational context
Within the position of Project Leader RD&I (Non-Food), you will report to the Manager of Business Creation (Non-Food). This is a key strategic role for someone with a background in technology, innovation, biobased and project management looking to make a strong contribution to the success of this key strategic topic for Cosun Beet Company.
Job description:
• Innovation project management;
• Lead project teams, engage in project planning, and stakeholder management, and ensure that project objectives, impact, and milestones are met, within the agreed budget and timing and according to the agreed project plan;
• Next to leading the projects, support new business creation and actively contribute to activities like scouting, screening, and ideations (front-end innovation);
• When needed interact with centralized innovation and R&D, Engineering, Production, Finance & Control, Commerce, Corporate and external Business Partners;
• Stays informed of developments and trends in the field of relevant technologies and 'biobased economy;
• Communicate project status, results, and activities with team members and internal and external stakeholders, always ensuring alignment of expectations;
• Contributes to the further development of the overall innovation goals and non-food team.
Profile
• A Master’s degree in Science/Chemical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience;
• Knowledge and/or previous experience in Biotechnology/Green Chemistry (bio-based chemicals/materials) is a plus;
• Experience in managing high-complexity multi-stakeholder innovation projects and teams;
• Insights into the developments in the international 'biobased' industry;
• Solid innovation project management skills;
• Cosun Beet Company is internationally oriented, good command of English is required and in addition, basic knowledge of Dutch is preferred;
• Independent;
• Communicative and socially skilled.
